Constance F. "Connie" Burress, age 80, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her dear husband, John W. Burress; and son, Clifton Burress. Connie is survived by her daughter, Holly Marquez; grandchildren, Sydnee, Austin and Dillon Marquez; sister, Carolyn Burkeley; and cousin, Jim Fisher.
Connie was born in Indianapolis, IN, in 1935. She moved to New Mexico in 1959 where she met and married her husband John. Connie and John raised two beautiful children Clifton and Holly. Connie worked at many interesting jobs throughout her life and was co-owner of the popular gift store Burro Alley in downtown Albuquerque. Connie had many, many wonderful friends throughout Albuquerque and the southwest. She was a dedicated member of the Calvary Church of Albuquerque.
