Clyde Evans

August 28, 1931 — June 17, 2012

Passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 in Albuquerque. Clyde is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Evans; children Bonnie Ingram and her husband Bryan, David Evans and his wife Christine, and Kerry Evans and his wife Tammy; grandchildren Kristopher and Stephen Ingram, Zachary and Lindsey Evans and Aaron and Nathan Evans; sister Jean Lynch and brother Robert Evans and his wife, Linda, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Dorothy Evans; brother-in-law Forrest Lynch and nephew Dale Lynch. Clyde was born on August 28, 1931 in Morenci, Arizona. He graduated high school in Dawson, New Mexico and served 4 years in the United States Air Force. Clyde owned Telco Electric, a business he took over from his father. He was a member of Garfield Gospel Chapel, and a member of the Masons. Clyde was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating, and jazz music. Friends may visit French University Chapel on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. A Funeral Service will be held at French University Chapel on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 11am. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
