Clorinda Baca

Our beloved mother, Clorinda Celia Baca Montoya, 95 passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Born on Tuesday, August 19, 1930, in Arroyo Seco NM to the late Luciano and Lugarda Garcia. She married at the age of 15 to Sigfredo Montoya and lived in Los Montoyas had 7 children and lost her husband at age 26 leaving her to learn to drive and go to work for Meadows nursing home. Mom had a passion for working with the elderly. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, shopping, traveling, cooking and baking for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sigfredo Montoya; son, Gilbert, Anthony Montoya; daughter, Mercedes(Mercie) Montoya; granddaughters, Veronica, Nicole Montoya; grandsons, Fred, Luciano Jr. Montoya; and great-grandsons, Domonic and Vincent; daughter in-laws, Rita and Lucy Montoya; and sisters, Eralia,Delia and Jane. Clorinda is survived by her children, Vangie and Eddie Encinias, Luciano Montoya, George Montoya, Pete Montoya and Marla Garcia. Also 15 Grandchildren 30+great grand kids and 5+great great grand kids; brother, Abel Garcia and other relatives. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm at FRENCH- Lomas with a reception to follow.
