After moving to Albuquerque in 1954, he held a master gas license with Southern Union Gas Company, later retiring from General Electric Aircraft in 1989. He enjoyed fishing and hunting all his life and spent quality time at the family cabin in northern New Mexico.
He was a member of American Legion Post 13 for many years, volunteered for the New Mexico Department of Game & Fish as a Conservation Officer, and was a past president of the Heights 20/30 Club.
Clifford was a loving man of faith, a quiet man, very patient, and never complained. He was the family’s shining light, and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to CareSource, Armada Hospice, and to his longtime caregiver, Nancy Goetz.
