Claudia A. Powell

Claudia A. Powell, born on January 31, 1949 was called home to her Lord on July 2, 2018. She is rejoining her loving husband, Afton, her mother and father, John and Dorothy Hobbs and brother, James Hobbs.

Claudia is survived by her precious baby, Sugar who was constantly at her side; also, by her nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; as well as extended family and friends.

Great appreciation is extended to Ambercare Hospice as well as the staff at La Cueva Senior Living.

Friends may visit FRENCH – University on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, 2:00 p.m., at the La Cueva House, 14216 La Cueva Ave NE. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
