Clarice M. (Whiting) Stone

Clarice Mae Whiting Stone was born in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin to Leslie and Mae Whiting. She had two older brothers, Leslie Junior and Vernon. She graduated from East High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her parents and brothers preceded her in death.

Clarice met and married Donald H. Stone in Denver, Colorado in 1956. They had three children; Vickie Mae, Patrick Neal, and Michael Hugh. Clarice followed Don through fifteen years of his US Naval career. They then settled in Colorado for 23 years, during which she raised her children and saw her five grandchildren born. As the children moved out, she started a career in tax preparation. She and Don moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 1995 to start their retirement years. Her oldest son, Patrick, preceded her in death. Her favorite pastime was joining her lady friends for breakfast, sewing and exchanging conversations. She will be missed by all for her friendly smile and caring ways.

"There will be no Memorial Service.  Instead in her honor, we ask that you take time out of your busy lives to hug a child, support a parent, and visit a grandparent."
