Dziurzynski, Clarence T. "Ski"
Clarence T. "Ski" Dziurzynski, passed away Saturday March 26, 2016. He was born September 19, 1933 in Everson, PA. He was an Albuquerque resident for almost 60 years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Georgia; son, Eric Dziurzynski of Albuquerque; daughter, Karen and son-in-law, Patrick Cox of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Jared, Gabriel and Gregory Dziurzynski, Sage and Georgi Cox; and great-grandchildren, Drake and Lillian Dziurzynski; plus his siblings, Marion and Eugene Dziurzynski, Irene White, and Alice Rugg of Pennsylvania, Dolores Rega of Ohio and Patricia Brant of California. Surviving in-laws include, Carlos and Yvonne, Fred, Robert and Ramona Lucero all of Albuquerque. Ski was preceded in death by his daughter, Rene Ann; son, J. Robert; his parents, Stanley and Helen; and siblings, Stanley and Leonard Dziurzynski.
He served in the Navy from 1952 to 1956 as Aircraft Electrician in the USS Boxer during the Korean Conflict. Ski also served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1961 as Systems Technician at Carswell AFB, TX. He earned six military service medals: China Service, United Nations, National Defense, Korean Service, and two for Good Conduct.
Ski was a graduate of the North American Tech School in Albuquerque, and worked with the Inhalation Technology Research Institution at Kirtland AFB as Electronics Technician from 1961 to 1989. His biggest joy was playing softball as shortstop with the Albuquerque City League including championship Senior Teams from 1970 thru the 1990s. Ski was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church from 1961 to 2003, and presently a member of St. Charles Parish.
The Rosary will be recited on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Please visit our online guestbook for Ski at www.FrenchFunerals.com.
