Clara (Salazar) Gallegos

Clara Gallegos, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM since 2007, and formerly of La Palma, CA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was born March 10, 1928, to Pablo “Tony” and Refugia “Cookie” Salazar in Las Vegas, NM. On July 26, 1948, in Las Vegas, NM she married Carlos P. Gallegos. She was employed for over 30 years with the City of Los Angeles. Clara was also very active in her church, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by her five grandchildren, Denise Gallegos, Lance Roth II, Paul Gallegos, Rachel Gallegos, and Ronda Gallegos. Her parents; daughter, Carla; and two sons, Mark and Martin Gallegos preceded her in death.

A Rosary will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE Rio Rancho, NM and burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Moriarty, NM.
