Clara Belle (Gonzales) Anaya

ClaraBelle Anaya was born to Verna and Sie Gonzales on December 5, 1931, and went home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Married to John P. Anaya on September 13, 1952, and were partners for 62 years. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend and her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jean Archibeque and husband Ivan, from Albuquerque, and her son, Dale Sie Anaya and wife Marianne, and granddaughter, Lauryn Ann from Los Alamos.
ClaraBelle owned and ran her own beauty shop, La Belle Coiffure for over 30 years. She also served on the State Board of Cosmetology for more than 20 years. ClaraBelle enjoyed baking, arts and crafts and needle work and traveling to different countries. The family thanks the following people for their caregiving and love: Maria Soto (primary caregiver), Karen Soto, Annette Romero, Lupe Ruiz, Phylis Nes, Karlene Sanchez, Patsy Chacon, Mary Ann Murphy, Gracie Velasco and Stephanie Archuleta. Thanks also goes to Steve Archuleta, Homer Velasco and the Hospice Nurse, Laurie Norina. ClaraBelle had a special place in her heart for her youngest caregiver, Kaylee Zellner.
A mass will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Community, 5415 Fortuna Road NW-87105.
