Cindy Lee Daugherty

d. July 16, 2016

Cindy Lee Daugherty went to be with the Lord, after a fierce battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones on July 16, 2016. Cindy was born in Burlington, IA on December 23, 1957 and moved with the family to Albuquerque four years later where she spent the majority of her life. Cindy was a graduate of Eldorado High School where she was a member of the cheerleader squad. Among her many jobs, Cindy worked for Southwest Airlines where she met the love of her life Grant. Cindy and Grant were married for 28 years and blessed with two beautiful children, Megan and RJ. Cindy loved the Lord and lived her life accordingly and was always ready to help anyone on a moment's notice. For Cindy, the Lord came first followed by her loving family. Cindy is survived by her father, Jack Craven; her husband, Grant; her daughter, Megan Hatchitt with husband Kenny and grandson Ethan (the apple of her eye), and son, RJ. She is also survived by her sister, Jackie with husband Charlie and sister, Dawn with husband Andre. Cindy also had many loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Suzanne Craven. Cindy's family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors who have been so supportive of them over the last few months. We take great solace in knowing that Cindy is now in heaven with her mother Suzanne smiling down on all of us. She will be truly missed.
