Christopher "Bubba" Patrick Jones

Our beloved son, Christopher “Bubba” Jones was called to be with our Lord Monday, July 6, 2020.

Chris was born in Albuquerque, NM on December 7, 1995 but has resided in California for the last ten years.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra Jones; and his great grandparents, Margaret Jones, Virginia Johnson, Dorothy and Alex Padilla and Genoveva and Librado Medina.  Christopher is survived by his parents, Chris and Yvonne Jones; his beloved sister, Mykayla; his grandparents, Arturo and Debra Medina, Jack Jones and Deena Noonan; his uncles and aunts, Robert and Dottie Narvaiz, Jack and Gerri Jones, Bobbijo Jones, John and Natasha Hagan, Jesus and Audra Mena, his Nina Cecilia Padilla; cousins, Robert Paul, Jazmyne, Samantha and Marianna Narvaiz, Alexis Alyssa and Diego Mena, JD and Deidre Hagan, Samantha and Daniel Smith, Victor, Denise, Hunter, Gia Padilla, Autumn and Deshae Quillen.

Bubba was known for his beautiful smile and his ability to light up the room with his presence. He loved talking to people and making them laugh.  He enjoyed the outdoors, being at the lake with his Nana and Tata and his cousins or hunting with his grandpa Jack on the river. His love for music, sitting on the beach, watching the sunset brought him so much peace. Whether watching movies with his sister and mom, a UFC fight or baseball with dad, or playing games with his cousins - Bubba was the heart and soul of our family and will be missed beyond belief.

Rosary will be recited Monday, July 13, 2020, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.  Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 14, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee.  Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens, 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers are Chris Jones (father), Jack Jones (uncle), Robert Narvaiz (cousin), Angel Gonzalez (cousin), Justis Quillen (cousin), and John Hagan (uncle). Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Narvaiz (uncle) and JD Hagan (cousin).
