Christopher Neel

Christopher Sean Neel was born on September 1, 1972 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away on March 25, 2024. He is the youngest son of Richard E. and Mary A. Neel.

He is survived by his father Richard Neel, his girlfriend Vicki Reisenbach, brothers Michael R. Neel (Eladia), Robert F. Neel (LouAnn), Douglas J. Neel (Michelle), Stephen J. Neel (Rhonda), sisters Colleen M. Parker (James), and Kelly L. Wyne (Michael), numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful dog Ozzie. He is proceeded in death by his mother Mary A. Neel and sister Karen Neel.

Christopher graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended the College of Santa Fe. While at College, he entered the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary as a seminarian where he grew in his Catholic faith that sustained him throughout his life. Chris later served his country entering the US Navy as a Radioman on the USS Peleliu.

Chris continued serving those around him as a gifted chef where he enjoyed sharing his culinary delights with family and friends. His love for animals was ever present, always having a dog alongside.

Chris was committed to his Catholic faith, family and worked hard to attend occasions and keep in touch with a large ever growing extended family. We are comforted that Chris now rests peacefully alongside those whom he loved so much during his lifetime.
