Christine (Sienko) Rabi

Chris Rabi, age 74, a longtime Albuquerque resident died at home on August 25, 2022, after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Rabi.

Chris retired from the Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM), where she worked for many years and made lifelong friends. She and her husband were members of the Faith Lutheran Church community where, for many years, Chris served as a Stephen Minister, bringing comfort to those in need. Chris and Steve loved to travel and spent many happy times together on cruises all over the world. She was an active Jazzercise enthusiast, collecting T-shirts and friends along the way. Chris was a people person and made friends wherever she went.

She was an avid British soccer fan and would often get up at 5 am to watch them play. She would also stay up late to stargaze with her neighbors. She enjoyed many evenings sitting on neighbor's patios watching the setting sun reflected on the Sandia mountains, looking at birds in their backyards or just enjoying their company. If there was a neighborhood gathering, Chris was there.

Chris's service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Road NE, Albuquerque NM 87111, on Friday, September 16th at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow.
