Christine Ethel Faulkner

Age 83, a fourteen year resident of Albuquerque New Mexico completed her journey in this life on January 23, 2014. Born November 21, 1930 Christine was the first of three children born to Harry and Christine Payne of Columbus, Ohio. Sisters, Annikee and Betty preceded Christine in death. Christine accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was an active member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. Relocating to Chicago, Illinois in 1949 Christine was united in holy matrimony with Robert Faulkner. To this union three children were born: Michael, Denise and Darryl. Daughter, Denise; Husband, Robert and Son, Michael preceded her in death. Christine's life has filled its place in the hearts and memories of her survived loved ones, Son, Darryl (Carolyn) Faulkner; Granddaughter, Erika (Stephen) Bordwell; Granddaughter, Nicole Faulkner, Granddaughter, Michelle Faulkner; Nephews; Nieces; Cousins and a host of loving friends. Christine retired from the US Postal service in 1994 following thirty plus yrs. of public service in Chicago IL. Relocation in Albuquerque was to follow. Christine enjoyed over 50 years of bowling locally and competing nationally at the amateur level. She also enjoyed Sea Cruises, traveling, NBA basketball and visiting with friends and loved ones. Friends may visit one hour prior to the Funeral service to be held Saturday, February 1, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park.
