Christina Michelle Geissler was welcomed into Heaven on March 19, 2023. She is reunited with her grandparents, family, and friends.
Christina was born on April 4, 1985 in Albuquerque, NM. Christi as she chose to be called lives on in the memory of her beloved parents, Josie and Patrick Geissler, her amazing brother Sean Geissler, his wife Mallory, their children Ember and Hunter; her special sister Alisa Geissler; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Christi attended Longfellow and Georgia O'Keefe Elementary Schools, Eisenhower Middle School, and graduated from Eldorado High School in 2003. She furthered her education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock TX graduating Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2007.
She loved children and taught Kindergarten at APS for 13 years. She was a positive influence and role model for many children. She touched many of their lives with her enduring energy, creativity, affection, thoughtfulness, and determination.
Her college graduation gift was a 3 pound Yorkie that she named Bella, her Bella Boo. They were a perfect team. Bella accompanied Christi everywhere from the grocery store, to shopping malls, to visits with friends, camping trips, and to Angel Fire NM. She had a special shoulder purse that fit Bella comfortably. Everyone knew and loved Bella.
Christi loved adventure and the desire to explore. She traveled extensively throughout Europe, Ireland, California, New York, Hawaii, and Washington DC. She loved the outdoors and had a special bond with animals. In Angel Fire she would take to the back roads in her brothers ATV and loved to feed deer by hand, often petting Bucks between the horns and videoing her experiences with deer and wild turkeys.
Christi was a burst of sunshine. Her smile was contagious and her laugh incredible. She was so sweet, kind, loving, caring, considerate, and compassionate. She loved her family and her hugs and kisses were lasting and genuine. She loved her niece and nephew with all her heart and spent many hours at their house, at a park, or in the snow playing and holding them. She was so patient, understanding, and amazing.
Because of Christi, the world is a much better place. She is loved by all of us forever and ever and will be missed. Our precious daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend will remain and lives on in our heart. Her kindness touched us all.
