Chris Allen Gaarder

Chris Allen Gaarder, 64, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Born May 6, 1953 in Osage, IA, he was the son of Merrill and Beverly Gaarder. Chris attended Highland High School in Albuquerque, NM and was an integral fixture at Presbyterian Hospital where he worked as an Energy Center Operator for over 26 years. He loved the outdoors and reading books about American history.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Jessica White and her husband, Brian; his mother, Beverly Williams and husband, Bob; and grandson, Oliver Richard White. He is also survived by his sisters, Carole Hicks and husband, Ralph, Cheryl Dix and husband, Everett, Cosetta Lewis and husband Gene, and Cassandra Gaarder and husband, Bill. He was preceded in death by his father, Merrill A. Gaarder.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Wyoming with a reception to follow.
