Chonita Benavidez

BENAVIDEZ, CHONITA Age 87, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013. She went to be with her loving Father in Heaven. She is already an Angel in our eyes, now she can sit with her Lord for eternity. Chonita was the last surviving sibling of the Baca family. She is survived by six sons, Fred Benavidez, John and wife, Cathy, Leo and wife, Louise, Pete, Phillip and wife, Chabela, and Martin and wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Janet Fehr and husband, Bill and Theresa Gutierrez and husband, Alex. Chonita is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Benavidez was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Benavidez. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH-Westside. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
