An alumna of the University of New Mexico and a proud recipient of a master's degree from the University of California at Sacramento, Cheryl's commitment to education and personal growth was unwavering. She is survived by her husband Paul Hudson, of 46 years and her cat Autumn, sister Barbara Blackwell (husband Bert), brother Dr. Thomas C. Thompson (wife Mary Jane), brother Robert Thompson (wife Luisa), sister-n-law Polly Thompson.
