Cheryl Kay Cargile, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico for nearly 40 years, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the age of 67. She died of natural causes stemming from breast cancer. Following her graduation from Oklahoma State University with a BS in chemistry, she moved to Albuquerque for the advantages of the dry weather to benefit her health. For many years she worked at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico, first as a lab tech and last as director of IT.
Cheryl is remembered with love and admiration for her strong faith evidenced by love and care for her family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Eugene Cargile and nephew, Dillan James Cargile of Tulsa, Oklahoma; an aunt and an uncle and several cousins.
