Cherryl Renee Harrison

Age 60, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She is survived by daughter, Jennifer (Clinton D.) Richins of Mountain Home, ID; daughter, Shannon (Michael) Brown of Los Lunas, NM; grandson, Zane Richins; grandson, Grant Richins; sister, Jacquelyn Brooks of Duncan, OK; sister, Diann Schmidt (R.A.) of Bozeman, MT and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Cherryl was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Woodard; father, Jim Woodard; granddaughter, Audrey Richins. Cherryl was a 5th grade teacher at Chaparral Elementary for 21 years before retiring in 2012. She was honored to be named Who's Who in Teachers of America and nominated for Disney Teacher of the Year. A Visitation will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Latter-Day Saints, Indian School Ward, 12701 Indian School Road NE. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Randy Macon officiating. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
