Cherie Neumann

Officially received her wings when she passed away peacefully in her home on October 14, 2013. She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1959. Cherie attended Marywood School for Girls/Sisters of Providence in Evanston, IL for 10 years. She flew the world as an Airline Stewardess flying DC-4's and flying military families to their husbands overseas and was Santa's Helper on Operation Toylift giving gifts to children at Christmas. She was a Manufactures Sales Rep since 1982. She is very grateful and thankful to all of her accounts for friendship and loyalty selling them greeting cards and gift items. She was a beloved wife and mother who always had a zest for life. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. Everyone loved her. Cherie is preceded in death by her father, Frank R. McCabe; mother, Dora H. McCabe; brothers, Frank and Russell McCabe; husband, Robert H. Neumann and son, Colonel Robbie Neumann. She is survived by her daughter, C. Lauren Neumann; cousins, Joyce and Geri Hoskins, the Larson's originally from Glenrock, NJ; Neumann's in Longmeadow, MA and Neumann's in Copake, NY. Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 17, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 18, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Flowers are being handled by The Flower Company, 505-293-7677.
