Charlotte M. Pinkston, 96, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013. Charlotte was born November 9, 1916 in rural east Tennessee to Joseph B. and Laura Belle Marshall. She married William E. "Ted" Pinkston in 1936, and the couple moved to Albuquerque with their young son in 1948. She worked with her husband in various businesses around town and retired upon his death in 1971. Charlotte was a quiet person and spent her time caring for her mother, who passed in 1979, keeping house, and enjoying the company of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Harry and J.B Marshall. She is survived by her sister, Emma McInturff of Alsip, IL; brother, Robert C. Marshall and wife, Aileen of Knoxville, TN; son, James Pinkston of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren in Albuquerque and other parts of the country. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 14, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
