CHARLOTTE ANN PLAGGE MIERA Age 36, a resident of Oracle, AZ since July 2011, died on December 16, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Edmund Miera; her children, Graham Duncan (10) and Lauren Duncan (9); mother and step-father, Janice Anderson and Brian Anderson; brother Jimmy Anderson; maternal grandparents, Betty Bourbonia Davis and Roger Cox and wife DeeDee Cox; maternal aunt, Elizabeth Cox; and cousins, Johnny Bourbonia Cummins and Tommy Bourbonia Cummins; father, Curtis Plagge; paternal grandmother, Gretchen Bush; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Charlotte was born in Denver, CO and grew up in Albuquerque. She was a graduate of La Cueva High School in 1994 and was a New Mexico Symphony Senorita. She attended the University of New Mexico. Her children were her life and she loved being a stay-at-home mother. She had a lifelong love of camping and the beautiful outdoors. Her favorite place was the family ranch near the Valle Caldera. She was an experienced horsewoman and her passion in life was rescuing abandoned and abused dogs. Charlotte established the Tri-Community At Risk Animal Rescue in Oracle. She was responsible for spaying and neutering over 1,000 animals this year, as well as rescuing and placing numerous abandoned dogs and cats with responsible pet owners. Charlotte had a God-given talent for singing that was evident from a very early age and shared her beautiful singing voice throughout her life. She performed for numerous organizations at various functions and we know that she is currently singing with the angels in Heaven. She was also a member of Albuquerque Assembly #20, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She was recognized for her public speaking receiving multiple statewide honors, including the Grand Cross of Color which is the highest honor afforded to active Rainbow Girls. Charlotte always marched to a different drummer and lived her life in her own inimitable way. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. A celebration of her life will follow. Private interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
