Charlotte May (Johnson) Smith

Charlotte Smith, age 93, loving mother, grandma, friend and caregiver, passed away on Tuesday, August 13,2019. Charlotte was known for her kindness, love for children, unselfishness, dedication to her family and willingness to help people. She loved to crochet, garden, cook, and put jigsaw puzzles together. She is survived by her children, Margie Gibson, Clinton Smith and Clifton Smith;10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Ola and Edna Johnson; her husband F. Wesley Smith; 2 grandsons, Gary and Jerry Wilson’ her brother, Floyd Johnson; and her daughter, Patsy Wilson. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with Services at 11:00 am also on Friday, August 16, 2019, at FRENCH-University. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
