Charlotte M. Jones

Charlotte Jones was married for 67 years to Gerre Jones, who preceded her in death in 2015. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Putnam of Albuquerque, NM and Wendy Stout of Show Low, AR; two grandsons, Zachary and Rennie Putnam, children of Beverly and Bill Putnam.

Charlotte graduated from McKinley High School in Saint Louis, MO. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO from 1947 to 1948 and the University of Munich in Munich, Germany in 1964.

Beginning in the 1970’s, she assisted her author husband in research work and editing for his books. Charlotte also worked as a supervisor in the cosmetic industry and as a travel agent. She volunteered as an aide in the US Army Hospital in Munich, Germany and in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

She is missed by her entire loving family. Services are pending.
