Charlotte Amanda Miller Lawlor was born on September 8, 1921, in Trenton, New Jersey, and joined her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the age of 91. She passed away as she lived, on her own terms, in her own home, and with her family at her side. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Lawlor and wife, Rosaria of Lambertville, NJ, Alyce and husband, Jack Uveges of Sun City West, AZ, Madeline and husband, Fred Campo of Port St. Lucie, FL, Patti Hyde Adair and husband, Wayne Adair of Albuquerque, NM, Patrick T. Lawlor of Hamilton, NJ; and Dennis Lawlor and wife, Debi of Desert Hot Springs, CA. Her grandchildren, Ann Marie and husband, Mark Adamko, Lisa Lawlor, Richard Lawlor, Robert Lawlor, Barbara Read, Linda and husband, Eric Sweeney of AZ, Joseph Marchetti III and wife, Karen of Port St. Lucie, FL, Brian Marchetti, John Marchetti, Shelly Marchetti, Chuck Hyde and wife, Melissa of Phoenix, AZ, Robert A. Hyde, Esq. and wife, Angela, of Phoenix, AZ, Ryan Lawlor, of NJ, Dennis Lawlor II of CA and Peter Mattis of PA and step-grand-daughter, Jana Yoder along with her daughters, Rachel and Emily of CO. Great grandchildren include Carmina, Mark, Nico, Erin, Adam, Marc, Beau, Joseph IV, Joshua, Kyle, Ashleigh, Gabriel, and Kaila. She is survived by her siblings, Merry Carol D'Amico of Ewing Township, NJ, William Miller of Levittown, PA, Patricia and husband, Mark Healy of FL, Jim Miller and wife, Cordelia of Eminence, KY; sisters-in-law, Joan Miller of Penndel, PA and Joan Miller of Lawrenceville, NJ; plus many, many nieces and nephews, and extended family, as well as many dear friends who have been faithful, loving friends throughout her many years of a fulfilled life. She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Amanda Bates Miller who passed away on September 21, 1921; her parents, Charles and Madeline Ashton Miller; her husband, Aloysius (Wishie) Lawlor; her son, Robert A. Lawlor; her siblings, Margaret Hewitt, Betty Harris, Charles (Red) Miller, and Forrest (Foddy) Miller. Although Charlotte has been a resident of Albuquerque for the past 30+ years, she was born and lived over 60 years in the various neighborhoods in and around Trenton, Lambertville, and Hopewell, New Jersey. Charlotte was a 54 year member of The Catholic Daughters of The Americas, Court Santa Maria No 317, in Albuquerque, NM, preceded by Court Columbus No 50, in Trenton, NJ. Charlotte was a faithful volunteer at Casa Angelica Auxiliary, The Assistance League of Albuquerque, The Good Shepherd Center Auxiliary, formerly the St. Joseph's Health Care Center Auxiliary (9000+ volunteer hours) and a member of The Alter Rosary Society at The Shrine of St. Bernadette's. She was a graduate of Hixson School of Floral Design, in Cleveland, OH, and taught many classes in Arts and Crafts throughout the years, including Albuquerque New Comers Club and the Encore Club. Although Charlotte was a person of lesser means, she was always concerned about the welfare of others, and never hesitated to share with those that were less fortunate. She also contributed of her time and talents to many missions, missionaries, and charitable organizations throughout the state, the country, and the world. Because of her humility toward humanity, she always remained a face in the crowd that worked behind the scenes to better the world for others. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, June 25, 2013, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE. From there she will be transported to join her husband and son, Robert that passed before her, in their internment in Trenton, New Jersey.
