Charlotte Jones

CHARLOTTE B. JONESCharlotte was born on September 25, 1920 was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on September 7, 2012 after a long and lengthy illness. Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, John E. Branch, mother, Joyce M. Branch, her husband, Henry B. Jones and son, Richard H. Jones. She is survived by three sons, Allan L. Jones (wife, Velva), Robert B. Jones and Bruce G. Jones, and one daughter, Carol J. Palmer. Charlotte is also survived by one brother (James A. Branch) and one sister (Leona Clark). Charlotte has five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte was a member of Hoffmantown Church and the Together, Loving and Caring Sunday School Class where she had many wonderful friends. Charlotte grew up in Illinois and moved to New Mexico in 1944 due to her husband's health. She traveled on a train by herself with three small children. One of the children was a one year old infant. Charlotte and Henry owned a restaurant in Espanola, New Mexico called the Western Maid Steak House for many years. Charlotte was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend to all that knew her. Memorial services will be held for Charlotte at French ~ Wyoming Chapel on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Ken Moore officiating.
