Charlie Richards

Charlie Richards, age 83, went home to be with our Lord on November 3, 2016. Charlie was born in Dallas, TX in 1933. His family moved to Dumas, TX in 1935 where he was raised and attended school. In 1953, Charlie and his family moved to Shamrock, TX where he met and married the love of his life, Janis Oldham, in 1955. They spent 61 blessed years together raising their family in Big Spring, TX. Together they moved to Albuquerque in 1981 where he fulfilled his service to the Lord working as a reconciler with the Christian Conciliation Service. Janis went to be with our Lord March 25, 2016. Charlie was an ordained minister. He will always be remembered for his selfless nature, quick wit, and service to our Lord and the Body Of Christ. Charlie is preceded in death by his son, Jackie; and parents Mary and Spurgeon Dunn. He is survived by his son, Dan, and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Logan, Austin, and Megan; and two sisters, Pat and Joyce, both residing in Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with a reception to follow. Memorials contributions may be made to Mission Bases, P.O.
