Charles Tennison

Charles Tennison, age 85, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle was received into the arms of Jesus and taken to his eternal heavenly home on Monday, March 31st, 2025. He was born in Manhattan, Kansas and resided in Albuquerque, NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Dorothy Tennison; brother, Richard Tennison; and sister, Joyce Chavez.

Charles is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Mary Jo Tennison; daughters, Lisa Ferris and Lori Tennison; son, Richard Lay; son-in-law and nephew, Rick Tennison; brother, Joe Chavez; sisters, Mary Riopel and Margaret Silva; sister-in-law, Virginia Tennison; grandsons, Michael Ferris, Ross Lay, Kyle Tennison, and Erick Lay; granddaughter, Kelli Tennison; and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charles will be missed beyond measure by his loving family and friends whose life he has touched.

Visitation and service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. at FRENCH - University, with a reception to follow.
