Charles Beecher Stillwell

Charles Beecher Stillwell passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 93. He was born in Sylva, NC on February 26, 1930 to EP and Esther Stillwell. He graduated from Sylva Central High School in 1948. After graduation, Charles attended Mars Hill University for one year. He then attended North Carolina State University where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1953. After graduating he moved to Albuquerque where he was a member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories for 38 years. He retired in 1992.

Charles married Flossie M. White in June 1958. He is preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and three sisters, Elizabeth Stillwell, Joy Williams, and Mary Willis. He is survived by his brother, EP Stillwell, Jr. 

Charles was a registered professional engineer in New Mexico. He liked to garden and he and his wife were members of the La Noche Garden Club. After retiring he did a lot of hiking around Albuquerque.
