Charles Smith

Age 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Monday, February 4, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeanne L. Smith; daughters, Cynthia Taylor, Marilyn Robertson both of Eagle, ID, Barbara C. and husband, Bruce, and Beverly A. McCracken and husband, Steven H. all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Sandra, Lisa, Josh, Tim, Heather, Larry and Shanna; nine great-grandchildren, Hope, Isaiah, Emelia, Jepsen, Jalen, Brendan, Brooklyn, Lana and Maximus. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his son, Larry C. Smith. Charles worked for and retired from Sandia National Laboratories after 36 years of service. A service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, 10:00 am at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
