Charles William "Chuck" Parker
April 30, 1953 - January 18, 2023

Chuck Parker passed away peacefully in Albuquerque on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. He was born in Hobbs, New Mexico and graduated from Lee High School in Midland, Texas in 1971. He volunteered for military service in the U.S. Army in 1973 and was medically discharged the same year. He moved to Albuquerque in 1975 and remained thereafter for the rest of his life.

Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie Rambo and stepfather, C. L. Rambo of Midland. He is survived by his sisters, Lena Law and Charlotte Leigh of Midland, and their children and grandchildren.

Chuck was an avid musician and listener of music. He loved to sing, play guitar and keyboards, and write and record original compositions.

Chuck's family and many friends remember him as a wise and caring mentor and "cheerleader". He was relentless in expressing interest in and love for everyone he encountered. He was truly a rare gift to the world and will be greatly missed.

No memorial service is currently planned but well-wishers are encouraged to donate to a charity of their choice in his memory.
