Charles W. Mikkelson

Charles W. Mikkelson, from Albuquerque NM, 87, beloved father, and loving husband to DeAnne Mikkelson who passed April 13, 1999 was called to his eternal resting place on September 16, 2018. He entered this world on June 18, 1931 in Rifle, CO, born to Carl and Oral Mikkelson. He is survived by his daughter Carrie Mikkelson; son Brian Mikkelson; daughter Lisa Harris. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was an active member of the Medowlark senior center by teaching fly tying class and sponsored frequent fishing trips. He was the only one in his High School to letter four times allowing him to obtain a scholarship to University of Texas A&M. He retired from LASL after many years in the Personnel Administration HR department.

A small intimate memorial service will be held on September 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Wyoming & Paseo del Norte.
