Charles James Lorenzen

Dr. Charles "Chuck" Lorenzen passed away at the age of 78.

Chuck was known for his kindness, generosity, wonderful sense of humor and ability to make friends everywhere he went. He was a great cook who enjoyed cooking for others and trying new recipes from his many cooking magazines. Family and friends loved the holiday season when he would make huevos rancheros and large batches of his famous 'Mix' to give away. Everyone also looked forward to his cannoli with homemade ice cream and homemade hot fudge sauce. Chuck was a passionate and avid reader and especially loved his Tom Clancy novels. Chuck enjoyed art, museums, maps, road trips, music, and his truck-aka his "Office." He was a devout traditional Catholic.

Chuck leaves behind his loving wife Melinda Lorenzen; his four sons Michael, David, John, and Steven; 3 daughters-in-law and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren.
