Charles Julius Miller

Charles Miller, 79, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on December 3, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. He entered this world on September 10, 1938 in Cushing, OK.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda; his three sons, David (Rebecca) of Huntsville, Al, Mark (Renee) of Brook Park OH, and Robert of Tigard, OR; daughter, Cindy Meadows (Greg) of Brunswick Hills OH, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy (Charlene) of Vacaville, CA, Jack (Donna) of Fairfield, CA, Mike (Susie) of Fayetteville, AK, Timmy (Janice) of Benicia, CA and sister Wilma Peavey (Ken) of Vallejo, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Miller, brother William and sister Muriel.

Charles was a Master Craftsman, working in the printing industry for over 45 years and retiring in 2008. Charles lived a great life, traveling, golfing and bowling. He loved playing golf with the gaggle at Desert Greens, and his bowling buddies were his forever friends. He traveled all over the world and often remarked that he has seen things in his life he never would have thought possible.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Westside. A reception will follow the service and all are welcome. Interment will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in Toledo, Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
