Charles (Chuck) H. Halper of Albuquerque, N.M., passed away on November 25, 2018. Chuck was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 6, 1930 to Herman and Maria Halper. He joined the Air Force in 1951 and then joined his parents and family in Albuquerque following his service in 1955. He and his dad partnered to form H. Halper and Son’s Construction, which he continued until he retired in 1986.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Dolores; parents, Herman and Maria; his brother, John; and sister, Rose. He is survived by his children, Charles Halper Jr. and wife Arlene, of Poway, CA, David Halper, of Leucadia, CA, John Halper, of Del Mar, CA, Charlene Halper and her son, Dylan, of San Diego, CA, Mark Halper, of Albuquerque, NM, Eric Halper and wife Hermie and their daughters, Elisa and Erica of San Diego, CA; step-daughter, Kathy and husband Tony Medley, of Albuquerque, NM; step-grandson, Michael Medley and wife Jolyn; step-great-grandchildren, Mikelle Medley and husband Isa, Jared, Justin, and Matthew Medley of Albuquerque, NM; step-granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Dominic Barrios; step-great-grandson, Miqueas Barrios of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Herman Halper and wife Madeline of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2018, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. N.E.
