Dr. Charles A. Hall, 87, died on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025. Preceded in death by his dear wife Geralyn, his upbeat and generous spirit will be sorely missed by his son David, his family Leslie and Thomas, daughter Debi and her husband Eric, her Daughter Samantha and husband Aaron and their children Aurora and Phoenix (due to arrive in June).

Charles was born on February 27th, 1937 in Bloomington, IL to parents George and Alice Hall. After earning his PhD at the University of Illinois, he moved to Albuquerque to work at Sandia National Laboratories as a material scientist.

After retiring, he enjoyed his time traveling with his wife Geralyn, whom he met at First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque, where he was an active member for over 50 years. Geralyn passed away in 1999.

Chuck most loved his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, theater, baseball (Cardinals and Isotopes), Illinois football, photography, and bridge, among many other things.

A memorial service will be held at 12pm, Friday, February 28th at First Presbyterian Church (215 Locust St., SE. Albuquerque).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Child's Garden at First Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
