Charles Best

BEST, CHARLES ROBERTA lifelong resident of Albuquerque died October 16, 2012. He was born July 25, 1952, to Robert and Marjorie Best. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; mother, Marjorie Best of Albuquerque; son, John Best of Charlotte, NC; son, Charles Best and wife, Skye of Pinehurst, NC; and daughter, Aimee Sigmon and husband Craig of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, Charlie Best and Henry Best of Pinehurst, NC; sister, Barbara Gilbert and husband Ray of Albuquerque, and brother, Jim Best of Albuquerque, as well as nieces and nephews. Mr. Best was preceded in death by his father, Robert Best. Mr. Best earned a degree in economics and business from UNM. He worked for many years in the automotive industry, both with automotive manufacturers and repair businesses. The family of Mr. Best, wish to thank the doctors and nurses at UNM Cancer Center for the compassionate care he received while battling cancer. Services will be held on October 25, 2012, at 10:30 am, at French's Mortuary at 10500 Lomas NE.
