Charles E. Ahrens, Jr.

Charles (Chuck) Ahrens, age 82, a dedicated husband, father, and friend, passed away Monday, November 4th, 2024. Chuck was best known for his military and banking careers.

He enjoyed reading, golfing, staying connected with people on Facebook, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Chuck is survived by his wife, Cindy Ahrens; his children, Danielle Ahrens, Chuck Ahrens III, Sean Ahrens, and Gina Derry.

He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Bonner, 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He also leaves many cherished cousins and dear friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Michelle Lee Ahrens.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside Chapel with a reception to follow. In addition, there is a cenotaph engraving placed in his honor at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque. Memorial contributions may be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
