Charlene B. Krummel, a longtime Albuquerque area resident, passed peacefully into the hands of our Lord and Savior at home the morning of December 23, 2019. Charlene was born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, with high school years spent in Lubbock, Texas. While attending college at TCU, she met and married Thomas Krummel of Kansas City, MO. She later moved to Albuquerque, NM with son Bruce. While working at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., she completed her degree at UNM, receiving a BS in Education. She taught elementary 2nd and 3rd grade at several APS schools during her 21-year career. Charlene enjoyed road trips with son Bruce. She also enjoyed reading, Native American culture, and the sunny New Mexico skies.
Charlene is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Ola Banks. She is survived by son, Bruce Krummel (Doreen); granddaughters, Jordan Krummel Wilson (Jack), Lauren Krummel Hall (Jacob); and great-grandson, Thomas Wilson. She is also survived by brother, Byron Banks; nieces, Josie and Wendy; sister, Lanelle Hyd; and nephews, Kelly and Blake.

Charlene’s Funeral Service will be Friday, January 3, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming.
