Celiz J. Valles

Celiz Valles went to be with our Lord on April 18th, 2024. He was born April 30th, 1940, in Veguita, NM to Willie and Elogia Valles. He retired from PNM as a senior Power Plant Operator at Reeves station in Albuquerque, NM. Celiz was a lifelong parishioner of Queen of Heaven Parish.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ursula Valles, daughter Adriana Guzman and husband Orlando, daughter Vanessa Valles Montesinos and husband James. Granddaughter Ashli Montgomery and husband Billy, grandsons Carlos, Aaryn and Jaden. Great grandchildren Connor, Lola and Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Elogia Valles, sisters Leslie, Cecilia and Shella and brother Felix.

Celiz had a great passion for music, nature and travel. As a lifelong dog owner, he found great joy in the company of his four-legged friends. A gregarious person, he loved to joke, laugh and make others smile.

Services will be held at 9:30AM at Queen of Heaven Parish, located at 5300 Claremont Ave NE, Albuquerque NM 87110. Internment will take place at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at a later date.
