Celia Miramontes

Celia Miramontes age 82, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021.

She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on November 12, 1938.

Celia left a budding career in Chihuahua to marry her husband, Andres Miramontes, moving first to Colorado then finally to New Mexico in 1962. She was married for 47 years before her husband passed away in 2014.

She was known to be honorable, of strong will and character, sprinkled with a dry sense of humor and exceedingly hardworking. She took great pride in keeping house and working in the garden. Although, she did not have any true hobbies she would indulge in watching novelas and of course, never missed watching her favorite soccer team Club America.

She was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, a fierce protector of family and loyal friend.

S he is survived by her only child, daughter Margarita Carrillo and son-in-law Alex Carrillo.
