Celia Karmel, born September 21, 1943 in Prescott, AR to Margie and J. T. Wood, died December 27, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth; two sons, Kevin and Keith; step-son, Clayton; eight grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Hicks; and nephews, Dennis and Chris Hicks.
Celia attended schools in Buras, LA and Beaumont, TX before graduating from Eldorado High School in Arkansas. She also attended Ouachita Baptist University. Celia was a lifelong Baptist. Memorial Services will be held in Arkansas at a later date.
