Cecilia R. C'de Baca, 86, of Albuquerque, New Mexico went to be with her lord on February 3, 2016. She was in her home with her family by her side.
Born November 24, 1929 in Belen, New Mexico, Cecilia was the fourth daughter of nine to Rafael and Eduvigen Sanchez. After graduating from Belen High in 1948, Cecilia did a fair amount of traveling but always found her way back to New Mexico.
In 1958, Cecilia married her husband Joe and they had four children Rob, Elizabeth, Nancy and David. She was a devoted homemaker ruling her home with a loving but stern hand. Cecilia was a devout Catholic and spent her early mornings praising her beloved lord and savior with the "dawn patrol," serving as a Eucharistic minister at Sunday Mass, and devoting any quiet time to prayer.
Cecilia loved any moment she could spend with her sisters laughing and reminiscing, or chatting with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly by anyone who was graced by her.
Cecilia is preceded in death by her husband, Joe; her son, David, and her grandson, Gregory. She is survived by her son, Rob (wife Mary); daughters Elizabeth (husband Edward) and Nancy; her grandchildren, David, Brittney, Anastasia, Pete, Kymberliegh, Paul, Dani, Trevor, and her soon-to-be 16 great-grandchildren.
