Cecelia Ann Gutierrez

Cecelia Ann Gutierrez, 89, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. She is the daughter of Jack Cinnoca and Mary Griego Cinocca. Cecelia was born in Akron, Ohio on November 7, 1926. She moved to New Mexico with her mother as a small child. She met the love of her life, Eloy, when she was fourteen. They were married on September 26, 1943 at March Field Airbase, in Riverside, California. Together, with a strong faith in God, they lovingly raised six children.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Lourdes. She is survived by her loving and cherished husband of 73 years, Eloy; her devoted children, Linda (Gerry), Eloy (Mary Kay), Teresa (Tim), Patty (Steve), Don (Yolanda), and Tim (Sue); sixteen loving grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family extends special thanks to all who cared for her.

A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas NE. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 4, 2016 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church. A private family Interment will take place following the Mass at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Brothers of the Good Shepherd or Casa Angelica.
