Catherine Bachman Smith

Catherine Bachman Smith, 82, passed away on February 24, 2016. Cathy had been widowed from Commander Ronald E. Smith in 2007. Cathy is survived by her brother, Greg Bachman of Columbus, OH (and wife Maureen); her granddaughter, Kiera Smith (and husband Tyrone) of Marysville, WA; and two great-grandchildren. Cathy had traveled the world with her husband Ron when he was a pilot in the U.S. Navy. Ron and Cathy founded and ran Century Laminating from 1975-1985. Cathy was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque and a long-time member of Tanoan Country Club. A special thank you to La Vida Llena Healthcare for the outstanding care that Cathy received.

A celebration of Cathy's life for family and friends will be held at FRENCH - Wyoming, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109 on Friday evening May 13, 2016 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served. Please come and share your memories of Cathy and Ron, their time in the military, their time as owners of Century Laminating, their time at Tanoan, and their time in the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque Charitable Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 21517, Albuquerque, NM 87154.
