Catherine "Cathy" Davis-Ray

Catherine "Cathy" Davis-Ray, age 55, passed on Saturday, June 4, 2016 after fighting a battle for the last several months. She is survived by her husband, Wade Ray; son, Joshua Davis and wife, Zonia of FL; step-daughter, Amber Ray; grandchidren, Haily and Kaylee Davis and Cyela, Fynlee and Lyana Ray; brother, Patrick Paasche; special friend, Becky Jenkins; and other relatives and friends. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Estella Paasche; brothers, Alfred, and Robert Paasche.
She was born in 1961 in Albuquerque and graduated from Manzano High School. After graduation she attended San Diego State where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Business and Accounting. She worked as a consultant, specializing in government medical staffing. Cathy was recognized five years in a row as one of the top business woman in New Mexico for small businesses.
She was a long time member of the Shrine of St. Bernadette.Cathy loved to shop, cooking, and was a very giving person. Her puppies were the loves of her life.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date
