On Wednesday, September 29, 2021, Casiano J. Nash, beloved son, brother, grandson, passed away at a mere 22 years of age.
Casiano was born on January 14, 1999 in Albuquerque, NM to Kayrine Montoya and Jared Nash. He was born and raised in Albuquerque and attended Highland High School.
Casiano had a huge heart and an infectious smile and brought laughter to all those around him. He enjoyed playing video games and vacationing in California. He also had a strong love for his family as well as a close bond with his "brothers". He was very close with his sister Marissa even when she moved out of state. He adored his little sister Aurelia and hung out with her all the time. Casiano would always say he compared everyones cooking by three people, #1 Grandma, #2 Mom and #3 Melissa.
Casiano was preceded in death by his father, Jared Nash; his great grandmother; and his Uncle aka "best friend". He is survived by his mother, Kayrine Montoya; sisters, Marissa Chavez and Aurelia Baker; his brother, Gino Nash-Dunnell; his brothers by choice, Caleb R-W and Noah Madrid; his grandmothers, Josie Phillips, Lulu Dunnell and Rebecca Shanahan; grandfathers, Andy Montoya and Michael Nash; as well as his great grandmother; aunties; uncles; and lots of cousins.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Josiah Montoya, Jorell Phillips, Dominic and Deandre Mosby, Claeb R-W, Noah Madrid and Kane Martinez
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
