Carson Michael Herrington

Carson Michael Herrington of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away quietly on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the age of 35.
Carson is survived by his parents, Rodney, and Denise of Albuquerque; his brothers, Ryan Herrington and wife Shari, Jordan Herrington and wife Jennifer, and Colin Herrington and wife Rachael, and his sister, Lindsay (Herrington) Cabbage and husband, Paul Cabbage. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews: Armando, Evan, Selena, James, Aiden, Bailey, Jeremiah, Declan, Everett, Logan, and Parker. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Carson was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nolan (Pat) and Rosemary Herrington, Mary Alice Herrington; and his maternal grandparents, Russell and Bobbye LaJaunie, and uncle, Michael LaJaunie.
Carson was born June 17, 1987, in Colorado to Rodney and Denise (LaJaunie) Herrington. He graduated in 2005 from St. Pius Catholic School, where he was a member of the soccer team. After high school, Carson enrolled at Central New Mexico Community College where he was majoring in computer science. He worked as an electronics assembler and inventory control specialist.
Carson was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, where he attended with his family.
Carson was an avid online gamer, utilizing that virtual space to connect with family and friends. He loved being an uncle and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Carson's impact will be felt beyond his life as he chose to donate his organs to help numerous people in need. He was deeply loved by all and will be missed tremendously.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m., St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 . A reception will follow at 12:00 p.m., at the Church Hall.
