Carson Rhea Gill

Carson Rhea Gill, 43, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 11, 2019, at his home in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Lubbock, TX, on Wednesday, December 31, 1975, son of the late Gary Gill and Lin Gill of Lubbock, TX. He was a graduate of Monterey High School in Lubbock and completed the vocational nursing program at South Plains College, in Lubbock before entering the health care industry. Over the years, he held numerous nursing and management positions at health care facilities in Texas, Florida, Hawaii and New Mexico. At the time of his death, he was employed by CSL Plasma in Albuquerque, NM. Carson loved the outdoors, especially snowboarding and skateboarding. He also held a first-degree black belt in taekwondo. He was chrismated at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Lubbock with the name of Seraphim.

He is survived by his mother, Lin Gill of Lubbock, TX; a brother, Rev. Conan Gill and his wife Stephanie, of Albuquerque, NM; five nephews and nieces, Nikolaos, Andreas, Gaius, Kassiani and Theana Gill, all of Albuquerque. A Funeral Service will be Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Interment will be Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 West 19th St., Lubbock, TX 79407.
